Attendance at the B20 Summit is by application and invitation only. Applications are open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Hold a leadership role in business within a G20 member country or an invited guest country (including the African Union and European Union nations); and/or
- Demonstrate active involvement in G20 or B20 activities.

- This is an application process for in-person participation.
- Successful applicants will receive a formal invitation.
- All costs of attendance are the responsibility of the delegate.
Media accreditation is open to journalists, editors, broadcasters, photographers, and content creators covering the B20 South Africa process. Applications will undergo a formal accreditation process before confirmation, in line with international standards for high-level summits.
We welcome interest from both established outlets and independent voices, including freelance journalists, podcasters, and bloggers, reflecting the evolving global media landscape. Accredited members of the press will gain access to B20 South Africa plenary sessions, press conferences, and other designated events, with opportunities for interviews and engagement with business and policy leaders.
